Introducing Tellescope

Improving Digital Health

After going through the Techstars and UnitedHealthcare accelerator at the end of 2020 and interviewing 100s of care team members and founders at Digital Health companies, we set out to build Tellescope to address the real challenges in modern Digital Health. We help teams get a great product to patients faster, while providing a better experience behind the scenes.

Current Options

Building a great patient management system is still too difficult. Currently, Digital Health businesses have 3 main options when it comes to establishing their patient communications processes and managing engagement.

1. Cobble together and repurpose sales tools such as a CRMs, Email, SMS, and Chat

2. Build something in-house with limited engineering capacity or outsource at high cost

3. Go over budget on difficult-to-configure tools built for large enterprise companies

No Good Choices

Many companies end up going with the first option based on their available budget and team resources. However, going down this route creates inefficient workflows for care teams. Having to manage many fragmented patient communication channels makes it difficult for companies to effectively scale their care team's “human touch” and personalized communication. Automated or mistimed messages lead to low patient engagement, and with the already high cost for care team members, razor-thin margins are reduced even further.

About our Founders

Tellescope is a Techstars company that participated in the 2020 UnitedHealthcare accelerator. Prior to Tellescope, our founders worked at companies such as Apple, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Ernst & Young.
